Going Into Space!

Students in PGL entered a worldwide contest called 'Cubes in Space' where 11-18 year old students from around the world were invited to compete for 1 of 80 cubes that NASA will rocket into space next week, and then retrieve when the rocket crashes into the ocean.  The cubes will be carrying  science projects that the students designed to answer a question which would make our world a better place. Our very own Amy, Lesley, Eason and Justin worked on a science experiment and wrote up an "Intent to Fly" form just like engineers from NASA to submit to this contest. Their magnet experiment was selected! They are the first Canadian students to be selected by Cubes in Space to rocket their experiment to space.
