St. Theresa School Council invites your family to Christmas Pyjama Bingo!

Friday December 6, 2019

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. | Game begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.

New Location: St. Peter High School | 750 Charlemagne Blvd

► What you need to know:
▪ $12 for 1 Pack of Bingo Cards (10 sheets + 1 Jackpot card)
▪ Tickets can be purchased on Cash Online & at the door
▪ We recommend 1 pack of cards per player
▪ Young children may need assistance
▪ No Dabbers; markers will be provided
▪ Children must be accompanied & supervised by a parent

Terry Fox Results

On September 27th, students, parents and staff participated in the Terry Fox National School Walk/Run Day.  We are thrilled with the results as we announce that we raised $3838.70. Thank you for helping us make our school’s Terry Fox event such a success.  We appreciate your support tremendously.  

Schedule an Interview

Should you wish to schedule a parent-teacher interview on Thursday, November 14 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., please visit here to access a list of teachers and interview times. All conferences will be ten minutes in length. Interviews will take place in the gym. Alternatively, a telephone interview could be arranged by sending an email to theresa@ocsb.ca to the attention of the teacher(s) you wish to see.

Playday

After careful consideration and checking with the weatherman, tomorrow's weather looks questionable for playday.  Therefore, playday has been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 26.  Tomorrow there will be the LUV to Groove Dance for classes as previously scheduled. Chuck-a-Duck will take place on Wednesday.

Monday, May 6 Open House


8:30-8:45 Assembly, featuring the St. Theresa Choir and the St. Theresa Dance Showcase Team, Gym. This assembly is for parents, guardians and guests. Teachers will take attendance and remain with students in their classes.


8:45 - 9:30 Classroom Visits: Parents are encouraged to visit at least five classrooms or learning spaces and enter to win a door prize! Stop and chat with School Council members in the lobby or check out the Book Fair in the Innovations Hub, Room 104A. Parents may tour the school with their child(ren) at this time provided they have directly spoken to their child’s teacher prior to removing their child from class. Parents should again make specific contact with the teacher when returning the child to class again at 9:30.

Time to register for Kindergarten

Kindergarten Registration Week is January 14 to 18, 2019  

Born in 2015? Registration begins in January for children starting school next September! Learn about the Kindergarten program at St. Theresa School and get excited together! If your child will be four years old by December 31, 2019, then they are ready to start Kindergarten in September 2019. The special week lets us register as many families as early as possible. Families who miss it can still register at any time by visiting St. Theresa School.

Candygrams

Candygrams are on sale to support Grade 6 Leavetaking events. Full size, peanut free candy canes are 1$ each or 6 for 5$. Children may send canes to friends and staff with an accompanying message. Parents may order a cane to be delivered to their child(ren) by sending in a note in an envelope (with payment) to their child’s teacher.
